You've heard them in the distance, the distinct whir of the pipes in the wind, the sudden and sharp cadence of the drums breaking the gentle calm that falls over the land like centuries before as regiment after regiment was lead into battle upon the misty slopes of Scotland.  Louder and louder as they approach, the swing of the kilt, the gleam of their steel, the uniformity of their ranks all fill your senses as the pipes drown out all that is around you.  And then they're gone, leaving you with the joy of the experience and an urgency to belong.

DON'T JUST LET THE BAND PASS YOU BY!!!

The Amityville Highland Pipe Band is looking for student pipers and drummers.   We have an excellent training program with top-notch instructors from among Long Island's elite pipe bands.  And best of all, lessons and uniforms are provided at no cost to those individuals that are interested in the heritage, the pride, and the brotherhood that is the Amityville Highland Pipe Band.

Band Practice is every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.

No experience is necessary, only a desire to enjoy and play the unique music of the pipes and drums is what we require.

**Accomplished Bandsmen are also more than welcome.**
